Wack Pack Update: High Pitch Erik
High Pitch Erik (aka Erik Bleaman)appeared in court on August 24th for his latest court appearance. Erik has a new lawyer. His previous lawyer told the District Attorney that Erik had "worked" for the Howard Stern Show (as employment) and that he was fully able to pay restitution.
Erik's current lawyer explained to the court that his client is not employed, hasn't been employed, is under psychiatric care/therapy and taking medication. He expressed that Erik is currently technically "homeless" etc etc etc. He asked for an adjournment to gather documentation of the above, including medical records, etc. He did express that Erik is living on unemployment, and a small allocation of food stamps. Erik's treatment is being paid for by Medicaid.
The judge therefore gave him this one last adjournment for the lawyer to get everything together to be presented again October 29th.

Artie Lange For Mayor
The Artie Lange for Hoboken mayor campaign continues to pick up steam this week. Yesterday, Lange even secured Howard Stern's endorsement.
The campaign is also demanding the endorsement of Ravi Bhalla -- quid pro quo, Ravi?
The grassroots campaign to elect Lange mayor does not have the endorsement of its candidate. However, the organizers are hopeful that residents will recognize this opportunity to elect Lange Mayor, whether he likes it or not.
"A former longshoreman with a rap sheet should have no problem getting elected in Hoboken. It's practically a requirement," said Bob Abouey. "The fact that he was All County in high school is icing on the cake."

Stern model killer found 'dead in motel'
US murder suspect 'dead in motel'
A man suspected of murdering his wife near Los Angeles has been found dead in a motel room in the Canadian province of British Columbia, police say.
Ryan Jenkins, 32, had been the subject of a massive manhunt after the naked body of Jasmine Fiore, a 28-year-old former model, was found in a suitcase.
He had reported his wife missing, and then disappeared himself. His boat was was found near the US-Canada border.
Police said it was unclear how long Jenkins' body had been in the motel.
Sgt Duncan Pound of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police says investigators were alerted after police had responded to a call about a dead person in the town of Hope, east of Vancouver.
Jenkins had been taking part in the show Megan Wants a Millionaire. Described as an investment banker, Mr Jenkins was one of several wealthy young men trying to win the affections of a young woman in the show.
The TV channel VH1 cancelled the series after he was identified as a suspect.
Ms Fiore had no connection with the show, but she and Mr Jenkins had married in Las Vegas in March.
Her mangled body was found in a suitcase in a metal rubbish bin in Buena Park, south of Los Angeles, on 15 August. She was identified by a serial number on her breast implants.
After several days of searching, police found Jenkins' boat more than 950 miles (1,500km) north of Los Angeles - in the town of Point Roberts on the Canadian border.
Wack Pack Update: Melrose Larry Green
Although he has not been on the Stern show in awhile now, crazy wackpacker Melrose Larry Green is still making appearances (if you pay him), and he has a book out now on his life.
This is his bio from his site:
"Actually, it may surprise you that Melrose Larry Green is not much different than you and I. MLG was born from humble beginning on December 4th, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York. Melrose Larry Green is a moniker that he has been using since the launch of his television career in 1990. Larry's real name is Laurence Victor Greenblatt.
As a youngster Larry attended the Hewlett-Woodmere Public schools in beautiful Woodmere, Long Island. During Larry's time in Woodmere, most of his friends were Jewish, and his two best friends Dicky Goldman and David Kleinman used to beat him up regularly.
But Larry excelled as a student and was admitted to the very prestigious Brandeis University, also known as the "Jewish Harvard." At Brandeis, Melrose was a political science major which laid down the foundation for many of his views of our sick society. Larry even spent time in a Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He was not there to get in touch with a his Jewish heritage, but there to chase after his old flame Vanessa, whom he had known since High School.
After graduating from Brandeis, MLG continued his schooling at Cornell University. There he spent much of his time holed up in the Johnson School of Management, trying not to flunk out. Melrose graduated in 1974 with an MBA. Thanks to his MBA from Cornell, Larry has been able to live a very comfortable life in between acting gigs by doing people's income tax returns.
Larry moved to Houston in 1976 to chase after an old college girlfriend. It was there in Houston that Larry met comedy legend Sam Kinison. Sam and Larry actually became friends and how ironic it is that Howard played a great part in vaulting Sam into super stardom, as he has done with Larry.
Larry moved to Los Angeles in 1980 with hopes of fame and fortune. Larry tried his hand in stand-up comedy. On the way up he befriended the likes of Andrew Dice Clay, Jackie Mason, and Casey Kasem. However, it wasn't 'til the late '80s that Larry gained his fame on the radio. Los Angeles radio station KLSX picked Peter Tilden to be their morning man. Tilden came from Philadelphia from WYSP, Stern's affiliate since '86. It was KLSX's idea that Tilden would be the Stern of the west coast.
Not knowing that Tilden was just a mere clone of Stern, Larry became a regular feature on his show, as "Larry the Accountant." When Tilden was later fired for poor ratings, Larry led a campaign to get Tilden back on the air, which was covered by the Los Angeles Times.
It wasn't until 1991 that Melrose discovered the Howard Stern Show. In a passing comment in 1992, Howard stated on the air that the people should elect him President. Larry was one of the first to take up the cause, holding up signs stating, "Howard Stern for President." And so began Larry's relationship with the Stern show."

UPDATE: Howard Stern Model Found Dead
LOS ANGELES — The woman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase and tossed in an Orange County trash bin has been identified as a 28-year-old former swimsuit model who disappeared over the weekend.
The victim, Jasmine Fiore, was last seen about 8:30 p.m. Friday at her home in Los Angeles and was reported missing Saturday evening by Ryan Alexander Jenkins, 32, a Canadian, who is now a "person of interest" in the case. Buena Park Police Lt. Gary Worrall said Tuesday that police want to speak with Jenkins, who reportedly took Fiore to a poker party in San Diego the night before she disappeared.
Authorities say Jenkins likely is heading for Canada, possibly in a black BMW. Fiore's car, a white 2007 Mercedes, is still missing. Jenkins was a contestant on the VH1 reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire," a dating show in which various men compete for the affections of a woman looking to become a "trophy wife" for a well-to-do suitor, TMZ.com reported. His profile on the show's Web site states that Jenkins is a Calgary investment banker who "claims he has left many amazing women in his life primarily because he wanted more women."
He also claims that he molds "player girls" into "princesses."The show's star, Megan Hauserman, told TMZ that Jenkins met Fiore at a Las Vegas strip club where she worked as a dancer, and they were married two days later.Fiore's body was found Saturday morning inside a dumpster in the Orange County city of Buena Park by a man rifling through trash for recyclable bottles and cans.Los Angeles Police Detective Carmine Sasso said investigators looking into Fiore's disappearance realized Monday night the description of the Buena Park body was similar to Fiore.

Family members say Jasmine Fiore was last seen at her Fairfax District home on Thursday afternoon. The swimsuit model recently moved to the area from Las Vegas to open a personal training business.
Her friends and her mother are extremely worried.
"It seems as if they kept in contact with her pretty frequently. So this is something that they are very concerned about, as are we," said LAPD Officer Sara Faden. "We want to make sure that she is fine. If anybody knows any information we would like them to come forward and let us know."

THE HORNEYMOONERS
Released in 1988 and starring Shanna McCullough, Annie Sprinkle, Stephanie Rage, Randy Paul, Alexis Firestone, Carlos Valentino, and Ron Jeremy.
The skimpy plot: There's a new Latino neighbor and there's confusion about who is sleeping with him. This results in the rest of the characters having sex with someone out of willingness or out of revenge.
The writing: There was so little plot, that there really isn't much to say about the lines the actors deliver. Most of the better lines appear to be ad libs.
The set: The kitchen set is fairly true to the original Honeymooners set. The sex all takes place in an adjoining bedroom, which looks too modern to fit with the kitchen set. The sex scenes are lit much better than the kitchen scenes and I expect they were shot at a different time.
The acting: Randy Paul is excellent as the Norton character. Carlos Valentino does a good job as the Latin Lover. Ron Jeremy is passable as the Ralph character and Stephanie Rage and Alexis Firestone do a decent job as Trixie and Alice
The sex: Pretty standard, most scenes are shot in the same sequence of setups with several cream pie shots.
The weirdest part of the movie: Trixie has two scenes shot outside. These scenes are filler and definitely don't fit in with the rest of the movie.
Final Thought: The Horneymooners just didn't live up to my expectations. I was expecting a little more plot and a lot more humor. The only pluses are Randy Paul's portrayal of Norton and Stephanie Rage is a good “sex actress”. I would grade The Horneymooners a C minus.

Wack Pack Update: Bigfoot

One disturbing event recently took place. He made a porno movie of sorts with the woman Melodie that you may remember from "Weekend with BigFoot". That footage is very, very disturbing on many levels and I wish I had never seen it. I had him turn it off at one point, but the damage was done.He wants to submit the tape to the Stern Show and I told him that he will get ridiculed beyond imagination. One note of interest about the tape. There is a woman screaming in the background like she is being tortured. BigFoot said that he didn't hear the screams at the time and swears no one else was in the room at the time. I swear that girl sounded like something big was being shoved in her backside. We are left to our imaginations to wonder just WTF was going on next door. So that's what BigFoot is up to."

Satellite radio provider Sirius XM is preparing to raise prices this week, saying that the increase is caused by a jump in music-royalty fees.
But some are questioning whether the price hike is based on the royalty fee or is an end run around a Federal Communications Commission ruling.
In a letter to subscribers, Sirius said that, beginning Wednesday, "A U.S. Music Royalty Fee of $1.98 per month for primary subscriptions and 97 cents per month for multi-receiver subscriptions will be effective upon your next renewal. This fee will be used directly to offset increased payments from XM to the recording industry."
The plan already is generating dozens of consumer complaints at the FCC Web site.
"What they are doing is wrong, and they are overcharging with this fee," said Edward Hilbert of Columbus in one of the posted complaints. "I hope someone there (at the FCC) will finally look into this and help us consumers out. We just had an increase not too long ago, and they took away what we were getting as part of our subscription. … I pray that the FCC will stand up for us little guys."
When Sirius and XM merged in 2008, the new company told the FCC that it voluntarily capped its basic subscription package at $12.95 a month to answer concerns that the merger would lead to a monopoly and higher prices.
There was one exception: Sirius XM could pass along some costs associated with music royalties. But the FCC said that the company could increase costs related to royalties based only on where those costs stood on the date the merger was approved.
On that date, March 20, 2007, the royalty rate was 6 percent of the subscription fee. The rate will increase to 6.5 percent on Wednesday, an 8.3 percent jump.
[color=red][b]However, Sirius XM's $1.98 bump in the basic monthly subscription rate of $12.95 represents a 15 percent rise -- far more than the 8 percent the FCC approved in its ruling.[/b][/color]
In response to calls and e-mails to Sirius XM seeking comment, a spokesman referred to the terms and conditions section on the company's Web site: www.sirius.com/
usmusicroyalty.
On the site, one of the frequently asked questions is, "Is this fee consistent with Sirius XM's merger commitment not to raise prices for three years?"
The company's response is: "Yes. This fee is consistent with our commitment not to raise the base price of specific service plans for three years after the merger. The FCC decision approving the merger between Sirius and XM permits the companies beginning July 29, 2009, to pass through to subscribers any increases in music royalties since March 20, 2007, the day the companies first asked the FCC to approve the merger. The U.S. Music Royalty Fee implements this FCC decision."
Despite the explanation, the subscription price hike has sparked some folks to grouse that this is simply a way for Sirius XM to get around the FCC.
And those complaints might spark an FCC inquiry.
"We monitor compliance with conditions of the merger and would review any complaints," said David Fiske, an FCC spokesman.
In the comments section about the Sirius-XM merger on the FCC's Web site, various criticisms of the price increase have been filed.
"This is an outrageous abuse of their agreement with the FCC regarding the merger," wrote Eric Krieg of Munster, Ill.
"XM Sirius is now raising rates more than needed and passing it on as a fee for music royalties," wrote Vince Scarlata of Park Ridge, Ill. "If calculated right, the fee that should be passed over to consumers should be 6 cents at most."
"The post-merger price and fee increases are just what those objecting to the merger feared," wrote James Peters of Tampa, Fla.
The FCC spokesman wouldn't comment further on a possible inquiry, saying only that the commission would have jurisdiction over the situation once the price hike takes effect.

In a letter to subscribers, Sirius said that, beginning Wednesday, "A U.S. Music Royalty Fee of $1.98 per month for primary subscriptions and 97 cents per month for multi-receiver subscriptions will be effective upon your next renewal. This fee will be used directly to offset increased payments from XM to the recording industry."
The plan already is generating dozens of consumer complaints at the FCC Web site.
"What they are doing is wrong, and they are overcharging with this fee," said Edward Hilbert of Columbus in one of the posted complaints. "I hope someone there (at the FCC) will finally look into this and help us consumers out. We just had an increase not too long ago, and they took away what we were getting as part of our subscription. … I pray that the FCC will stand up for us little guys."
When Sirius and XM merged in 2008, the new company told the FCC that it voluntarily capped its basic subscription package at $12.95 a month to answer concerns that the merger would lead to a monopoly and higher prices.
There was one exception: Sirius XM could pass along some costs associated with music royalties. But the FCC said that the company could increase costs related to royalties based only on where those costs stood on the date the merger was approved.
On that date, March 20, 2007, the royalty rate was 6 percent of the subscription fee. The rate will increase to 6.5 percent on Wednesday, an 8.3 percent jump.
[color=red][b]However, Sirius XM's $1.98 bump in the basic monthly subscription rate of $12.95 represents a 15 percent rise -- far more than the 8 percent the FCC approved in its ruling.[/b][/color]
In response to calls and e-mails to Sirius XM seeking comment, a spokesman referred to the terms and conditions section on the company's Web site: www.sirius.com/

On the site, one of the frequently asked questions is, "Is this fee consistent with Sirius XM's merger commitment not to raise prices for three years?"
The company's response is: "Yes. This fee is consistent with our commitment not to raise the base price of specific service plans for three years after the merger. The FCC decision approving the merger between Sirius and XM permits the companies beginning July 29, 2009, to pass through to subscribers any increases in music royalties since March 20, 2007, the day the companies first asked the FCC to approve the merger. The U.S. Music Royalty Fee implements this FCC decision."
Despite the explanation, the subscription price hike has sparked some folks to grouse that this is simply a way for Sirius XM to get around the FCC.
And those complaints might spark an FCC inquiry.
"We monitor compliance with conditions of the merger and would review any complaints," said David Fiske, an FCC spokesman.
In the comments section about the Sirius-XM merger on the FCC's Web site, various criticisms of the price increase have been filed.
"This is an outrageous abuse of their agreement with the FCC regarding the merger," wrote Eric Krieg of Munster, Ill.
"XM Sirius is now raising rates more than needed and passing it on as a fee for music royalties," wrote Vince Scarlata of Park Ridge, Ill. "If calculated right, the fee that should be passed over to consumers should be 6 cents at most."
"The post-merger price and fee increases are just what those objecting to the merger feared," wrote James Peters of Tampa, Fla.
The FCC spokesman wouldn't comment further on a possible inquiry, saying only that the commission would have jurisdiction over the situation once the price hike takes effect.

Howard Stern Who?
Howard Stern was recently dissed on "The Daily Dish". The article asks when was the last time you heard then name Howard Stern mentioned:
"Sirius XM is probably the best model of what happens when you start charging for what people are used to getting for free. It fails...Howard Stern was going to be the man who made Sirius a must have for millions of fans, but when was the last time you heard anybody mention the man?"
Personally, I believe that any Stern is better than no Stern, but I can not ignore the fact that Stern's audience went from 20 million to 2 million when he switched to Sirius. Is the price of free speech and freedom worth becoming forgotten?

Layout
The basic plot of the movie revolves around a magazine called AVG (Adult Video Guide) and the movie is meant to be a take on AVN (Adult Video News). The back of the box blurb: "Hollywood, CA - A young reporter accepts a position at adult trade mag powerhouse AVG, and becomes immersed in the strange world where pornography and journalism meet. Gradually he grows from an eager cub reporter into a sophisticated writer, surviving the distractions and pitfalls one would expect in the pornalism game...like full-on bondage and non-stop, hardcore anal sex...stop the presses! Briana Banks is the lead ... Tom Byron's the sidebar ... and Paul Thomas is at the desk. Any resemblance to AVN is purely intentional."
The movie's purpose was either to rip open the world of porn journalism and show us how things work behind the scenes or have us see how kinky these people all are. While both of these themes may be of interest to those working in the world of porn journalism, it didn't do a lot for me.
The best part of the plot was Kylie Ireland, playing a retired superstar trying to make a comeback She seduces AVG reporter Marcos Leon as part of her scheme to gain favorable press coverage.
Layout includes a couple of "on the set" porn shoots. The outdoor one is horrible and shot badly. The indoor one - The Three Muskatettes with Hillary Scott, Brooke Haven, Briana Banks, and Evan Stone was much better. And of course, our man Evan, gets to play dress up.
The movie was shot on film (and I think part video). There are some parts of the film that are dark and grainy. If you're going to shoot on film and can't have good lighting, why bother.
My only other comment on the movie is "When did Tom Byron get old!"
I appreciate the fact that Paul Thomas does strive to put more content into his movies than some directors; however, I would still grade Layout as only an average modern day porn movie.
